About the event
A lay-missionary from Maryknoll will speak at the Masses on Sunday. We will include Jean Donovan, a lay missionary who was trained at Maryknoll and worked in San Salvador with the three religious sisters working with the then Archbishop Oscar Romero. The four women were raped and murdered by hired assassins related to the government.
Jean Donovan was a graduate of Staples High School and lived at 138 Long Lots Road in Westport.
Join us for a coffee reception after the 11:00 a.m. Mass: Meet a lay-missionary from Maryknoll and watch a video on Jean Donovan.
